Though raised in the beautiful Lake Charles, Louisiana area, I spent many summers as a teen at our family vacation home in Bandera, Texas. I fell in love with the Texas Hill Country and knew I would someday make it my home. Upon graduating high school, I came to Texas and attended Trinity University in San Antonio. After graduation, with a degree in business, I held several different corporate positions. However, I found that my true desire was to have my own business and to have it in Bandera. With that desire I opened my real estate firm in the Spring of 1981 and thanks to the fine people of Bandera and the surrounding counties, Guilott Realty Inc. has enjoyed many successes over the years.

I have served as President, Vice-President, Secretary/Treasurer and a Board member for the Bandera County Board of Realtor. I also served on the State Grievance Committee and I am a trained mediator.

For many years Guilott Realty Inc. has supported, and continues to support, numerous worthwhile charities and civic events. We believe it is imperative to give as much as possible to the children and the future of Bandera, Texas.

In 2008, because of our continual growth, we built our new office. We donated our old office building to the 5,000 acres Hill Country State Natural Area, since the State Park did not have a headquarter building. Our new office is environmentally “GREEN”. We have a rain collection system.

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I graduated from New Mexico State University where I received my degrees in Government and Law & Society. I met my husband Ryan, a Texas native, while on a trip with mutual friends in Costa Rica. After enjoying several years in Shreveport, Louisiana and traveling around the world, I knew there would be no place but Texas to raise our children. Raising our children on our property along the Medina River could not offer us a more peaceful or beautiful place to call home. Although it was Ryan’s family who were some of the original settlers around the Texas Hill Country, I could not be a bigger advocate for the area. I enjoy spend my extra time sitting on local boards and volunteering in the schools around the community.

I greatly appreciate the deep-rooted culture and natural beauty of Bandera and the surrounding area and can often be found with my family kayaking one of the many local rivers or enjoying the trails at the local state parks. There is truly no place like the Texas Hill Country to call home and I enjoy helping everyone make their real estate dreams a reality!
